i wrote this, so-called background now, for the 35th Report. a publication of Harvard's Class of '61. though i had had the opportunity at different times to read the report through the years, i had never been in contact with them since my early departure from their ranks. but i must admit that the reading had been fascinating. following the respective journeys through life. so when i recently received the request to once again publish my meanderings and loves, i decided it was about time to try and add it all up. it will serve for the time being as a framework that i want to begin to develop and add too, change and shape as a way to look at a life. photos, text, documents, memoribilia, goodies, etc. i want to flesh it out.
